ABOUT

San Tan Highlands Golf Club

The San Tan Highlands Golf Club was formerly called Johnson Ranch Golf Course. It is a public course, open to residents of Johnson Ranch and the general public. They offer several variations of discount cards and annual passes, but because this is such a busy course, there are restrictions on tee times. You’ll need to check the course’s website or call them for details..

Renamed in 2023 (previously The Golf Club at Johnson Ranch), San Tan Highlands has two distinct nines giving it a flair possessed by few:

The Lowlands Nine cuts a route of generous fairways, rolling hills and longer holes on the floor of the San Tan foothills that give the course its name.

The Highlands Nine rises and falls in and around the foothills and provides the golfer with spectacular elevated tee and approach shots that challenge every golfer. The stunning views and environment found on the Highlands Nine reflect Arizona desert golf at its best.

San Tan Highlands is also home to Maria’s Kitchen, a full service eatery serving classic American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner (meal service varies depending on time of year). A 360’ view, climate-controlled patio provides a comfortable place to enjoy a distinct menu and take in the majestic views of the surrounding San Tan Mountains.
