Lakeside Village is a small gated community of just 90 single-level homes, ideally located a little east of Summerlin, and about 6 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip. For those who feel like they don't need or don't want the amenities and populations of large active adult communities like the Sun Cities, this is a much more intimate approach to active adult living.
About half of Lakeside Village is comprised of detached single-family homes and the other half is attached townhomes. All homes at Lakeside Village are single-level, and maintenance free. Whether you own a townhome or a detached home, the HOA takes care of your front yard maintenance and maintans your exterior and roof, so this is a nice "lock and leave" option, especially for those looking for a maintenance-free detached home in a gated community.
Homes at Lakeside Village were built from 1987 to 1990. Most have vaulted ceilings and open floorplans, so they have a look and feel that today's buyer's want.
The grounds of the community, common areas, and greenbelts that run behind the homes have a serene, park-like feel. Mature trees, lush grassy greenbelts, and babbling brooks with gentle waterfalls meander through the back yards of each home, creating a calm and serene setting for its residents.
Amenities at Lakeside Village:
Because of its small size, amenities here are just a pool and spa. The community does provide an onsite storage area for RV and boat storage, so residents don't have to rent separate storage units for their "toys".
HOA fees are currently $195/month - very reasonable for a gated "maintenance-free" community.

GOLF & HOA INFO:
Because it's a small community, Lakeside Village is not directly associated with any golf course. The closest courses: BADLANDS GOLF COURSE is pricey, and CANYON GATE COUNTRY CLUB is private, so you're best bet is Angel Park Golf Club, about 3 miles away. You might also consider traveling an extra ten minutes and drive to one of the SUN CITY SUMMERLIN courses.
Angel Park Golf Club is a great facility, with 2 regulation courses and a unique 12-hole "short course" that's designed to test your iron play with remakes of some of the world's most famous (or infamous!) greens and approach shots. Nine of the 12 "short course" holes are lighted for evening play, and they also have a lighted putting green, so you can keep playing even after the sun goes down....that's just sooo Las Vegas!
